The market is still in a plateaued, fairly settled state with mainly light decreases over the last 7days in wholesale power.

Although, there has been a small increase today, negating the light decreases (around 0.5 pence swing in kwh terms so not a lot) following an assessment by the German Government citing that the country might need to rely on below-average demand this winter in order for supply to keep up. This shows that Europe may still face supply issues this winter despite having above average gas storage levels. Increases were likely limited by significant oil and carbon price reductions.

It will be interesting to see movements next week with warmer weather coming through.
