Quality Care Group

At Quality Care Group, we know that diversity in all its forms strengthens our team, our business, and the care organisations we serve. That’s why we’re proud to support Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2026, the global initiative dedicated to challenging stereotypes and fostering understanding of neurological differences such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia, helping us celebrate the strengths and talents of neurodivergent individuals everywhere.

Our Commitment to Neurodiversity

Neurodiversity isn’t just a concept at Quality Care Group, it’s part of our culture. We recognise that neurodivergent individuals bring unique strengths, perspectives and talents to the workplace, and we actively work to create an environment where everyone can thrive. Here’s how we’re supporting neurodiversity across our business:

1. Inclusive Hiring and Workplace Adjustments

Traditional hiring practices don’t work for everyone, so we ensure our recruitment processes are accessible. Adjustments such as extra time for interviews or alternative communication approaches are available where needed. Once part of the team, colleagues can request workplace adjustments including assistive technology and flexible working arrangements to help them perform at their best.

2. Supporting Neurodivergent Team Members

Our commitment includes:

  • A dedicated in-house Neurodiversity Team working to shape best practice internally and support colleagues across Quality Care Group
  • Mental Health First Aiders offering guidance and support
  • Clear communication and structured workflows designed to benefit diverse thinking styles
  • Training and awareness sessions to help everyone understand neurodiversity more deeply
3. A Culture of Understanding and Inclusion

True inclusion comes from awareness, empathy and open conversation. Each year we use Neurodiversity Celebration Week as a chance to educate, share lived experiences and challenge misconceptions. Through spotlight stories and contributions from our own team, we amplify the voices of neurodivergent colleagues and celebrate the unique strengths they bring.

4. Advocating for Neurodiversity in the Care Sector

Beyond our own team, we support care providers across the UK with guidance on creating neuroinclusive workplaces. As part of our broader services in risk management and consultancy, we help care homes develop policies and practices that support both neurodivergent employees and residents alike.

Looking Ahead

Our commitment to neurodiversity is ongoing. By listening, adapting and advocating together, we aim to create a workplace where every way of thinking is appreciated and empowered to succeed. As we mark Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2026, we encourage others in our industry to join us in recognising the strengths and potential of neurodivergent minds. With continued collaboration and understanding, we can help build more inclusive cultures across the care sector and beyond.
