Lorrie has developed a wealth of recruitment experience over her career, both supplying staff to others and employing staff for the insurance and financial services companies that she has worked for. Lorrie’s knowledge and expertise spans more than 30 years, enabling her to source the right specialist recruiters who represent QCG’s values and moral code.

Meet Errol, Health and Social Care Law Expert

Errol Archer is a health and social care law expert. He deals with the Care Quality Commission and Health and Safety Executive, amongst other regulators.  He is a consultant solicitor advocate providing legal services through Scott-Moncrieff & Associates Ltd and Mu Business Counsel.

  • Won appeals at tribunal against CQC and Ofsted Notices of Decision;
  • Successfully challenged Notices of Proposal;
  • Persuaded regulators to withdraw Fixed Penalty Notices;
  • Skilfully drafted representations to draft reports to secure changes to the wording and to ratings;
  • Successfully defended and mitigated Health and Safety Prosecutions;
  • Guided providers through local authority safeguarding matters;
  • Effectively represented providers at Coroners’ Court Inquests.

For over 20 years, Errol has successfully acted for businesses, individuals, regulators and central government departments at the highest levels, including advising government ministers and company directors. He has worked both in-house and in private practice.
