Ben has been with QCG for an impressive 7 years this July, a fantastic milestone that reflects his dedication, consistency, and the vital role he plays within the business.
As a key member of the Business Support Team, Ben’s work touches every corner of the business. He ensures internal teams and clients alike receive timely, accurate documentation and support, and he plays a central role in keeping operations running smoothly. Ben also deputises for Business Support Manager Sarah Evans, stepping in with confidence and reliability whenever needed.
Ben has a couple of surprises up his sleeve, he proudly claims the title of BBQ grill master among friends and family and has been known to demolish six large scotch eggs in one sitting!
Ben is particularly proud of the increased responsibility he’s taken on, leading to his promotion within the Business Support team. His strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail have proven essential to delivering high-quality insurance support, both internally and externally.
Ben admits it may sound a bit cheesy, but his biggest inspiration is his line manager, Sarah Evans. He deeply admires her work ethic, kindness, and leadership. Sarah’s commitment to making the team the backbone and engine of QCG has had a lasting impact on Ben’s own professional growth and values.
Over the past seven years, Ben has significantly expanded his knowledge of both the insurance world and the care sector. He’s gained valuable insights into the everyday challenges care providers face and takes pride in being part of the solution, helping them not only manage risk but also reduce costs through smarter, more efficient business practices.
When he’s not in the office, Ben loves getting outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping, or soaking up nature. He’s also a big music fan, regularly attending gigs, especially those featuring rock and metal bands.
