Just over a year and what a year it’s been! Jack Collins joined the team a little over 12 months ago and has already made a big impression. With his hard work and dedication, he’s quickly become a valued member of the Existing Business Team.
As a Commercial Account Handler, Jack works closely with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide the best possible solutions. This includes advising on essential day-to-day cover as well as more specialist policies like Directors & Officers and Cyber Insurance. He also handles policy changes and ensures each client receives responsive, expert support tailored to their care business.
Jack can speak a little Chinese! It’s a lesser-known skill that reflects his adventurous spirit and international experience.
Jack is proud to have been voted Employee of the Quarter twice in his first year at QCG, an achievement that speaks volumes about the respect and recognition he’s earned from his colleagues across the business.
Jack credits Lauren Early, Head of Existing Business, as one of his biggest inspirations. He admires her wealth of knowledge and her success in setting up and expanding the domiciliary care element of the business. Jack also highlights Doug Walsh, Training & Development Executive, for his outstanding customer-facing skills and broad insurance knowledge, both of which have made a lasting impression and been a valuable source of learning and support.
Since joining QCG, Jack has started working towards his CII qualifications and has developed a deep understanding of insurance, both care-specific and across wider commercial areas. Coming from a finance/recruitment background, this transition has been a steep learning curve, but one he’s embraced with enthusiasm.
Jack has lived a truly global life, he was born in Spain, spent two years living in Australia, and has worked in China. His diverse experiences bring a unique perspective to his role and to the QCG team.
