Employee Spotlight: Lucy Robson

Tell us a bit about what you do at Quality Care Group

As Senior New Business Executive, Lucy supports care business with organising specialist insurance. Her role focuses on guiding clients through complex risks providing clear and practical advice. She works with care providers across the UK which helps strengthen long-standing relationships built on trust.

What does a typical day look like for you?

A normal day includes speaking with care providers who need support. This gives her the chance to help clients when they are making important decisions. Collaboration with teams across QCG also forms a core part of her day which helps ensure every client receives a smooth and consistent service in all areas of the business, not just the insurance.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

The most rewarding part for her is helping clients by providing peace of mind when navigating insurance challenges. She enjoys solving problems and supporting care providers with solutions that make a real difference. The positive and supportive culture at QCG is another part of the job that she values. She is also proudly part of our Neurodiversity Champions team, providing insight and training to the team on Neurodiversity in the workplace & trying to overcome stigma’s.

What has been your career journey so far?

Her four years at QCG have included steady progression. She began as an Account Handler before moving into the role of General Insurance Manager. From there she stepped into Senior Account Handler and now Senior New Business Executive. Each stage has strengthened her expertise and understanding of the care sector and insurance overall.

What do you enjoy outside of work?

Time away from work is often spent at festivals or on holiday. She enjoys exploring new places which helps her unwind after a busy week.
