Here at Quality Care Group, we support efforts that highlight why neurodiversity matters. As the UK's largest independent insurance broker working exclusively with care providers, we see firsthand how vital it is to understand and accommodate different ways of thinking, in workplaces, care homes, and daily life.

So what's AuDHD?

AuDHD describes people who are both autistic and have ADHD. Whilst each condition brings its own challenges and advantages, together they create a unique lens through which someone sees and navigates the world.

Yes, this might mean struggling with communication, maintaining focus, or managing sensory overload. But it also means bringing exceptional creativity, innovative thinking, and fresh perspectives that can transform teams and communities.

Why this matters

Days like today get people talking openly about neurodiversity. They're a reminder that everyone's brain works differently – and those differences deserve recognition, not just tolerance.

For care providers, employers, and local communities, building truly inclusive environments directly impacts people's wellbeing and potential.

What we're doing at QCG

The care sector revolves around people, and supporting those people properly means seeing them as individuals. Whilst we help providers navigate risks and regulations, we also champion the diversity that makes teams stronger.

How we can all do better
  • Actually listen when neurodivergent people share their experiences
  • Make adjustments and support standard practice, not special exceptions
  • Recognise the genuine value that different perspectives bring

AuDHD Day isn't just about raising awareness – it's about creating workplaces, care systems, and communities where everyone can truly flourish.
