In this month’s Employee Spotlight, we’re excited to introduce Lauren Early, Head of Existing Business at Quality Care Group (QCG).
How long have you been with Quality Care Group?

I have been with Quality Care Group for 8 years.

What does your job entail?

As Head of Existing Business, take overall responsibility for all existing business, whether general insurance or our core business, care insurance. I am also responsible for making sure all services are of the highest quality across the organisation. Developing our partnerships with insurance companies is something I really enjoy.

What’s your secret talent no one knows about?

I can play the piano, I find it very relaxing and the whole family enjoys gathering around the piano for a good old fashioned sing song.

In terms of successes, which accomplishments are you most proud of?

I am most proud of achieving my current position within the company, as a head of department. Personally, the birth of my amazing son.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?

The entire team at Quality Care Group is incredibly inspiring, as everyone is dedicated to providing the best service to our clients. However, if I had to single anyone out, it would be the Directors, who have mentored me to the point that they trust my decision making. Also, setting up and overseeing our charitable arm Pollard’s Promises. In addition, they have also supported me with my Endometriosis.

How have you grown professionally while with Quality Care Group?

During my time with Quality Care Group, I started as an Account Handler back in 2017, then moved onto taking over the Domiciliary care insurance book, in addition to working on New Business, which was challenging, but a great learning experience. Culminating in my promotion to Head of Existing Business.

Tell me something about you that most people don’t know...

I am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and won at the Southeast Championships. I also cannot eat potatoes in any shape or form 🤢🤮
