Melissa works across Business Solutions and Marketing, supporting a range of operational tasks behind the scenes. In Business Solutions, she manages referral administration, partner communications, CRM updates and reporting. When it comes to supporting Marketing, she helps analyse search visibility and partner campaign performance.
Melissa’s working day is varied, with a mulititude of projects across different departments to always keep things interesting. One minute she might be analysing data, the next she may review a process or take a look at how a marketing campaign is performing. Her day-to-day responsibilities include managing referral updates, coordinating with partners, maintaining our systems, and producing reports on lead performance and income.
Recently, Melissa has been working with the Marketing team to promote the Business Solutions department. She brings an analytical perspective to the project, helping the team explore the best ways to reach the right audience.
Melissa most enjoys solving problems and getting into the finer details of a task. She particularly enjoys the analytical and problem-solving aspects of her role.
Her recent work with the Marketing team has allowed her to combine data analysis with a more creative, outward-facing project. She enjoys approaching challenges from a fresh perspective and working with others to find solutions.
After graduating from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Natural Sciences, specialising in Environmental Biology, Melissa joined The Body Shop, where she worked across HR and Property. Her responsibilities included international recruitment, supporting the employee lifecycle and stakeholder management. She also contributed to large-scale projects, including the UK lease portfolio transfer, helping with financial validation, coordinating approvals and supporting the wider project delivery.
One of the things Melissa values most about working at Quality Care Group is feeling comfortable in being herself. As someone who is neurodivergent, she appreciates being part of a workplace where she feels accepted in a space where her individual perspective is welcomed. She values being able to approach things in her own way, share ideas and offer a different viewpoint, without fear of any negative judgement.
Away from the spreadsheets, Melissa enjoys getting creative, spending time in the garden, listening to music and going for walks with her three dogs.
Art is particularly important to Melissa, both as a hobby and as a mindfulness practice. She’s currently working on a personal project in which she's turning her artwork into printed T-shirts to gift to family members!
When it comes to the outdoors, Melissa has three very important companions: her sausage dogs, Esme, Eric and Ivy. They’re always ready for an adventure, although they’re not fans of the rain! Getting all three out for a walk when the weather turns is one problem Melissa hasn’t quite solved.
