Quality Care Group

Tell us a bit about what you do at Quality Care Group

As Business Development Manager, Simon works closely with c-suite executives and corporate clients to deepen partnerships and support growth. He collaborates regularly with our marketing team to deliver strategic account-based marketing (ABM) programmes that drive tailored engagement across priority accounts, helping connect QCG’s solutions with the needs of senior leaders in the care sector.

What does a typical day look like for you?

Simon’s day is varied and dynamic, often filled with high-level conversations with clients focused on solving complex industry challenges. Whether he’s partnering with a care provider’s leadership team, aligning cross-functional internal resources or working with marketing on personalised campaign tactics, his role centres on building meaningful, long-term relationships and delivering solutions that matter.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

Simon thrives on the opportunity to work with clients at a strategic level. He enjoys understanding the broader challenges care businesses face and being part of the conversations that help shape better outcomes. Seeing the impact of customised ABM strategies and strengthening client trust over time are among his favourite aspects of the role.

What has been your career journey so far?

Before joining the Business Development team, Simon spent time leading customer solutions within the care sector. This background gives him a unique client-side perspective, so he really understands the pressures care providers encounter, from regulatory compliance to cost control to finding trustworthy support partners. At QCG, he now channels this insight into helping care businesses not just reduce risk through insurance but also improve operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

What do you enjoy outside of work?

Outside the office, Simon is a passionate DJ, bringing energy and creativity to his sets. He’s also a season ticket holder at Brighton and Hove Albion FC, where you’ll often find him cheering on the Seagulls on match days.
